I was hauling freight down Pharr Texas. I talked to Ed the manager on the phone and let him know that I was going to arrive down there late. He’s a very genuinely friendly man. Him and his wife both. He was very accommodating. He got me in at about 11:30 at night. Extremely professional and wonderful sweet people! All the accommodations the pool, the spa the shower, the hot tub the washer and dryer facility. Everything is spotless and clean. This is one of the most wonderful places to stay if you’re Down in Pharr Texas definitely would give this place a look!

The male manager was extremely rude when I told him I was visiting to walk my girlfriend’s dogs. He showed zero professionalism and threatened to have me arrested. I have visited plenty of times and this has been the first this happened nor had it ever been communicated. I do not recommend to speak to him as he is rude and even yelled. His name is either even or Edwin if that’s the real name.

We recently spent five months at Tip O' Texas RV Resort as Winter Texans, giving us a complete picture of the experience. While the park has much to offer, guests should be aware of significant drawbacks regarding infrastructure, location, and utilities. Developed circa 1970, parts of the infrastructure may be over 50 years old. Amenities and Staff The park shines in its facilities and operations. It is securely fenced and gated, and the staff is consistently pleasant and helpful. A $50 per person background check is required. Amenities are functional and clean, including: Two pools, a fitness center, and laundry facilities. Large event space with a stage, chapel, and specialty rooms like a woodshop and billiards. R/C car racetrack and dedicated dog parks (bring your own waste bags). Courts for Pickleball, Shuffleboard, Volleyball, Cornhole, and Horseshoes. Car/RV wash station. Community communication is handled via the “BAND” app. Note that the entry gate is left open during regular activities accessible to non-guests. We love it here. Came last year for a week and stayed a month. Came in January this year and have been for 3 months. Bought a park model we liked it so much. Wonderful amenities ( pretty much everything you could ask for) and the people are Very friendly)

Nicest folks, level sites, gravel and close to all the border towns. Only safe Mexican town is Nuevo Progresso. Take the Mercedes bridge. Loved our time here and all the exploring to the Gulf beaches, even drove the beach to where the Rio Grande empties into the Gulf.
